7 Evolving to C-Grade Inanimate

It has been over a day since I've started the mission of maxing out my [Roll+] skill so I can evolve it. If I know what time and day it is right now, that'd be great.

Ding!

~~~~~~~~
Current time: 12:04:32 a.m.
Day: 5
~~~~~~~~

Oh, it's already the start of my fifth day in this world. It has also been around 25 hours since I've started rolling.

Now you might ask, where am I going? Well, the next place I'm going to is quite far from the 'experience heaven' area. It's still within the Starting Forest, but I'm sure, with the Genesis Points, I'm bound to benefit a lot in that place.

Ding!

Oh, there we go.

~~~~~~~~
[Roll+] has been upgraded to Level 5.
[Roll+] has reached the MAX level.
[Roll+] can be evolved.
~~~~~~~~

After five days of rolling non-stop...well somewhat non-stop, I'm finally getting a B-grade Mortal skill. I think this is the same rate of progress I had in the skill in the game back then. Well let's not waste any more time.

I'm gonna evolve this skill, and I'm gonna evolve myself.

'Evolve [Roll+]'

Whoosh!

Once more, a screen popped up in front of me. But this time, there are three buttons to choose from instead of two.

~~~~~~~~
Choose the skill that [Roll+] will evolve into.
[Steam Roll]
[Magical Burst]
[Flash]
~~~~~~~~

Mhm...mhm...yep. Everything seems like it's the same with the game. Anyways, I should enable the option where you can see the grade and level of a skill.

'Enable that shit.'

~~~~~~~~
Option enabled!
~~~~~~~~

Okay. With that done...

'Examine [Steam Roll]'

~~~~~~~~
[Steam Roll] (B-grade Mortal)
[Level]: 1/10
[Experience]: 0/20
A possible evolution to the [Roll+] skill. A greatly improved movement skill used by sticks. With the stick's improved affinity with the wind, the stick can also use the humidity in the air to strike its body, not only harnessing the energy from its surroundings, but also augmenting it to allow the stick to move at a faster speed.
Rate of movement: 50 meters per hour (60 meters with Traveler I title)
~~~~~~~~

Hmm...this is the skill I chose in the game back then. I'm gonna choose it as well right now, but I haven't checked the two skills in the game so I'll do just that.

'Examine [Magical Burst]'

~~~~~~~~
[Magical Burst] (B-grade Mortal)
[Level]: 1/10
[Experience]: 0/20
A possible evolution to the [Roll+] skill. A greatly improved movement skill used by sticks. With the stick's affinity to the wind, the user can harness the energy around its surroundings and allow it to move at a constant speed while accumulating extra wind energy to allow fast travels at short distances.
Rate of movement: 25 meters per hour (30 meters with Traveler I title)
Burst distance: 20 meters per hour (24 meters with Traveler I title)
Burst cooldown: 1 hour
~~~~~~~~

Oh, this is actually a pretty good skill. It combines both the [Roll+] skill and [Burst] skill into one. If I wasn't aiming for a special evolution, I might have chosen this one.

Even though the base speed of the [Roll+] part is the current speed of the maximum level of the [Roll+] skill and the burst distance is the base distance of the [Burst] skill, the cooldown is cut by half. Anyways, let's move on the last one.

'Examine [Flash]'

~~~~~~~~
[Flash] (B-grade Mortal)
[Level]: 1/10
[Experience]: 0/20
A possible evolution to the [Roll+] skill. A greatly improved movement skill used by sticks. Commonly termed as the evolved form of the [Burst] skill, with the stick's affinity to wind, the user can accumulate high amounts of wind energy and allow the stick to propel over long distances in a short amount of time. The skill has a cooldown time.
Burst distance: 200 meters (240 meters with Traveler I title)
Burst cooldown: 4 hours
~~~~~~~~

It's pretty much the evolved form of [Burst] alright. The distance traveled per hour is the same as [Steam Roll] but I have to wait 4 hours every time.

Well with that taken care of, let's evolve.

Click.

~~~~~~~~
[Steam Roll] has been chosen.
[Roll+] has been evolved into [Steam Roll].
~~~~~~~~

And just like that, I've upgraded my movement skill twice. And also, now is the time to...

'Evolve.'

Whoosh!

Just like how you evolve skills, the evolution tree for existence levels are also the same. Most of the time, you get to only choose between two. But if you fulfill a special requirement, you can even choose three or more.

Anyways, this is the screen I got.

~~~~~~~~
Choose the species you want to evolve into.
[Branch]
[Long Branch]
[Wind Branch] (Special)
~~~~~~~~

I knew it! Well I knew it from the start, I just wasn't sure that it'll pop up, but here it is.

Since I've played the game before, I've checked all of these, but I'll show you what each evolution path holds.

'Examine [Branch]'

~~~~~~~~
[Branch]
[Existence Level]: Inanimate
[Grade]: C
The sturdier version of the simple twig. This evolution introduces the [Length] stat which influences HP. Every level up allows a balanced increase in stats. The user also gets access to the [Splinter] skill.
~~~~~~~~

Ah the [Splinter] skill, the first offensive skill a player can get. Just like the [Roll] skill, it can be evolved into stronger forms. Anyways, moving on.

'Examine [Long Branch]'

~~~~~~~~
[Long Branch]
[Existence Level]: Inanimate
[Grade]: C
The longer version of the simple twig. This evolution introduces the [Length] stat which influences HP. The stats every level up are skewed towards [Length] and less on [Thickness]. The user also gets access to the [Splinter] skill.
~~~~~~~~

Pretty much the branch but thinner and longer. There are pros and cons to thicker and bigger sticks and thinner and longer sticks, you could guess, I'm sure.

Anyways, the last evolution path available to me. The one that allowed me to reach the existence level of Godhood in the game actually. If I never chose that evolution path, I wouldn't even be able to reach Godhood.

'Examine [Wind Branch]'

~~~~~~~~
[Wind Branch]
[Existence Level]: Inanimate
[Grade]: C
The specialized version of the simple twig. This version introduces the [Wind Affinity] stat which influences the damage you deal and the speed you move. The stats gained every level up is balanced on the three basic stats, but is more skewed towards the [Wind Affinity] stat. The user gains access to the [Wind Splinter] skill, a variation of the [Splinter] skill.
~~~~~~~~

And there it is, the beauty that is the Wind Branch. Remember me talking about how I was the only player that relied on the three basic stats, well it's part true since I relied on the [Wind Affinity] stat as well...and some more stats. Sorry I guess?

Anyways, let's not drag this any further.

Click.

~~~~~~~~
[Wind Branch] has been chosen.
Once accepted, [Aurus–Twig] will evolve into [Aurus–Wind Branch]. Would you like to continue?
~~~~~~~~

Well what other answer is there?

'Yes.'
